Welcome to Spriggo, an application developed by MOJATOON. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a safe environment for all our users, especially students and teens. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Spriggo mobile application.

1. Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Application includes:
Personal Data
Demographic and other personally identifiable information (such as your name and email address) that you voluntarily give to us when you register for the Application.
Derivative Data
Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Application, such as your native actions that are integral to the Application, including scanning homework, chatting with the AI Copilot, and completing quests.
Camera and Photos
With your permission, we access your device's camera and photo library solely for the purpose of the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature to scan school portals or assignment sheets. Images are processed to extract text and are not permanently stored on our servers or shared with third parties.
Microphone and Speech
With your permission, we access your device's microphone for the Speech-to-Text feature, allowing you to interact with the AI Copilot via voice. Audio data is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored or used to train our AI models.
2. How We Use Your Information
Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Application to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Provide the core functionality of the app, including the AI Copilot, OCR extraction, and gamification tracking.
- Process your SpriggoCore subscription payments.
- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Application.
- Notify parents/guardians of progress and settings via the Parent View feature.
3. Disclosure of Your Information
We prioritize your privacy. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:
Third-Party Service Providers
We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services (e.g., Supabase), and customer service.
AI Processing
To power the AI Copilot, your text inputs and scanned assignment data are processed through our secure proxy servers using advanced language models. This data is transmitted securely, is not used to train the underlying foundation models, and is not retained by the AI providers beyond the immediate processing of your request.
4. Children's Privacy and Parent Consent
Spriggo is designed to be safe for teens. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar global regulations.
- Teen Mode: Access to the app for minors requires verifiable parental consent during the onboarding process.
- Parent View: Parents have full visibility into their child's usage, progress, and settings, and can revoke consent or delete the account at any time.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
